Öbersthöfe farms above Riffian in Vernuer

Upper Obisellalm

The starting point is the Öbersthöfe farms above Riffians in Vernuer. Hikers get there after the northern end of the village of Riffian. Trail no. 21a begins at the Öbersthöfe farms. It leads through idyllic larch forests and steep hairpin bends above the tree line to the unmanaged Hahnenkamm hut.

From here, continue to the Untere Obisellalm and follow trail no. 5 to the Obere Obisellalm, where mountain lovers can immerse themselves in the unspoilt alpine world. The five-hour hike back follows the same route as the ascent.
