Hafling in South Tyrol lies above the spa town of Meran and is an ideal starting point for scenic tours on foot or by bike to Meran 2000, where hikers can expect panoramic views and cosy places to stop for refreshments.

Meraner Hütte
Route description
The starting point of the hike is Hafling. From there, the route first leads to Falzeben and via the Zuegghütte to Meran 2000. This first stage can be shortened considerably by taking the cable car. Mountain lovers now have to walk exclusively to the Waidmannalm and continue along the signposted path to the Meraner Hütte.
Continue along the E5 long-distance hiking trail (Lake Constance - Adriatic Sea) to the Kreuzjöchl, the Maiseralm and finally via the Moschwaldalm to Falzeben and back to Hafling.
