Route description
The hike begins in St. Pankraz im Ultental. From there, hikers follow the road towards Kirchbachtal and on to Untersäge. Head westwards to the Innere Kaserbachhof, the starting point of the hike. Here, mountain enthusiasts take trail no. 5 eastwards and take trail no. 8 at the fork. Take path no. 8 and follow it to the Locherer Kreuz.
From there, continue right on path no. 9. You first walk through an idyllic forest and soon reach the Mariolbergalm. There, mountain hikers follow trail no. 3a to the Innere Falkomaialm, where they can take a short break. The route is then moderately steep to the Falkomaisee lake. Return on trail no. 1 to the Mariolalm and from here on the same trail back to the starting point.
