Hiking tour St. Walburg Church

Hike from Sand in Taufers to the St. Walburg church. The hike offers a rich panorama of the Tauferer Ahrntal valley from Bruneck to Taufers Castle and the Mühlwalder valley.

From the highest point of the former castle hill, a small church with a majestic, imposing tower greets the valley. This was once a vassal castle of the Lords of Taufers.
