The hike begins in Kasern in the inner Ahrntal valley. The route continues moderately uphill to the Lenkjöchlhütte, the destination of this hike.
The Lenkjöchlhütte is open all summer until the first weekend in October. Return to the starting point on trail no. 12, hiking through the inner Windtal valley out of the valley and down to the huts of the Labesau-Alm.
