Glamping: 3 recommendations for South Tyrol

Glamping stands for "glamourous camping" and is also becoming increasingly popular in South Tyrol. Families in particular appreciate the outdoor feeling and the relaxed atmosphere at the campsite, but at the same time don't want to do without a certain level of comfort and a good infrastructure. We present 3 camping resorts with many amenities and a high feel-good factor – ideal for a glamping holiday in South Tyrol.

Our 3 tips are located in very different corners of South Tyrol, but all of them offer pitches for purists as well as alternative accommodation such as tree houses or wooden bungalows, flats or rooms. And our favourites also all offer private bathrooms for rent as well as a wellness area with pool and sauna.

Interesting for a holiday with a dog: Dogs are welcome on all 3 campsites, but must be kept on a lead. Depending on the campsite, dogs are not allowed in certain areas such as the swimming pool, restaurant or rental accommodation.

At Caravan Park Sexten and Luxury Camping Schlosshof Resort, four-legged and two-legged friends can enjoy the dog showers.

In South Tyrol you will of course find even more beautiful campsites, from simple campsites without frills for nature lovers to more luxurious camping parks.
