Baking with a baking coach

Do you love sweets and can't imagine Christmas without gingerbread, spitzbuben and Christmas stollen? But you don't really have the confidence to knead, shape and bake due to a lack of baking experience and therefore prefer to buy the traditional Christmas biscuits? Then a baking course with a baking expert would be just the right introduction to baking.

Yes, there are also good cakes and biscuits at bakeries and pâtisseries (although not all of them), but we, for example, not only enjoy eating them, but also baking them.

The smell alone that fills the kitchen when we take the tray of hot biscuits or stollen out of the oven spreads a cosy Christmas atmosphere. And decorating gingerbread or biscuits is a great activity for a grey December afternoon. 

When baking yourself, you can also decide whether you want to prepare the shortcrust pastry with butter or margarine and whether the gingerbread tastes better with hazelnuts or almonds.

Baking course with a professional

You invested a lot of time and effort, followed the recipe exactly, and then the result was a complete disappointment in terms of flavour and appearance. You can book a wide variety of workshops in her baking studio in Bruneck. Sieglinde reveals important tips for success, and of course you can also ask questions. Whether the course is about biscuits or bread, panettone or pralines – even experienced bakers and those with a sweet tooth will learn something new from the passionate confectioner. This makes baking fun!

Creative baking courses

Every year on 23 December, Sieglinde organises a Christmas course for children: under the motto “Knusper, Knusper, Knäuschen, wer knabbert an meinem Häuschen?” (which means Knusper, Knusper, Knäuschen, who nibbles on my house?), a gingerbread house is made. 

And if you're still looking for a Christmas present: how about a voucher for a group course or individual baking coaching with Sieglinde Pircher? Sieglinde is also open to new suggestions for course topics.

In 2023, Sieglinde does not have a course for “Spitzbuben” and “Vanillekipferl” in her Advent programme, but she does have one for “Stollen & Zelten” on the 12th of December. If you prefer modern to traditional, these 2 dates in November might be something for you: On the 25th of November, Sieglinde is offering the Cake Art course Weihnachtskugel & Dessert (Christmas balls & desserts) and on the 30th of November, "Die etwas anderen Plätzchen für den Weihnachtsteller" (the slightly different cookies for the Christmas plate) is on the programme.
