Autumn pleasure highlights in Naturns
From 12 October to 16 November 2024, the Naturns Gourmet Autumn offers a varied program of wine and entertainment events. From guided tours of renowned wine cellars to wine tastings and 6-course gala dinners, there is a wide choice of interesting events for five weeks.
Various grape varieties grow in the vineyards of Naturno, but the Riesling grape feels particularly at home here.

The gastronomic autumn in Naturns focuses on getting to know the regional wines and wine cellars of Naturns and the neighbouring community of Kastelbell-Tschars. Naturns is about 13 kilometres west of Meran: the mild climate and unique landscape make the village at the entrance to the Vinschgau Valley and the Texel Group Nature Park a popular destination not only for hikers and mountain bikers, but also for connoisseurs and wine connoisseurs.
During guided tours and wine tastings in the wine cellars of Naturns and the neighbouring municipality of Kastelbell-Tschars, as part of the Naturns Gourmet Autumn, you can learn more about local wine-growing and get to know various red and white wines. The late-ripening Riesling vine is particularly at home on the steep, sunny slopes of the region: here it is cultivated up to 900 metres above sea level and produces grapes for Rieslings, which are among the best white wines in Italy.

It is always good to look beyond the edge of the plate or glass. That's why Gourmet Autumn in Naturns is not limited to the local wine world: on Mondays there are tastings with selected wineries and winegrowers from all over South Tyrol, while on Wednesdays sommelier Franziska Steinhauser takes participants on a journey of taste discovery through the wine region of Sicily: a wine expert from northern Italy meets wines from southern Italy - an exciting combination.
Thanks to its varied programme, the Goumet Autumn in Naturns offers the right gastronomic event for every taste: take the opportunity to taste excellent wines and meet interesting people!
