Route description
The hike on the hour-long trail first leads from Marienberg Monastery past the old monastery saw and in the shade of the forest on the Schleiser Weg towards the Lowarei Hut. From here, the trail leads over a few high hills on the Tschenel Waalweg to the ruins of Rotund Castle and on to the Venezianersäge and the Italian-Swiss border.
Here the hour-long trail continues on gentle meadow domes to the Romanesque monastery of St. Johann in Müstair, a Benedictine convent.
