This hike takes you through forests and meadows past the 8 churches of the village of Taufers in the Münstertal valley.

St. Valentinskirche in Rifair

The hike starts at St. John's Church at the eastern entrance to the village with parking facilities and a bus stop. To the right of this hospice church, a hiking trail leads up to St Michael's Church (parish museum) and the parish church of St Blasius. The hike continues along Tellahöfe-Straße and then turns left through the forest to St Martin's Church. The hike follows a path to St. Martinweg, in the direction of the sports field and from there left downhill via Petnal. You soon come to a fork near a stream to the little church of St Anthony.
From St Anthony's Hill downhill through a deciduous forest you reach the Mühlweg. Via the St. Nikolausweg you reach the St. Nikolaus church at the junction to St. Johannstraße. Then continue right along the main road towards the border. Before the border, turn left towards Puntweil and walk downhill to St Rochus Church. Now cross the Rambach and follow the cycle path out of the valley to Rifair and St Valentine's Church. From Rifair, a well-signposted path leads back up to Taufers to the car park. The route to the Rifair bus stop at the district heating plant is slightly shorter.
