Description
From the edge of the small Tisser alluvial cone, the large Waal river is lined with rich vegetation including poplars and chestnut trees.

Route description
In Latsch head west, join the Tisserweg trail and hike to the Tisserbrücke bridge. From there, follow the original Waalweg trail through poplar and chestnut groves. Once you arrive in Castelbello/Kastelbell, you can also join the Schnalser Waal.
