Route description
The hike starts off fairly easy. The cable car takes you from Latsch to St. Martin am Kofel, where hikers follow the signs to Egg on the left. Here, holidaymakers hike on to the Forra farmstead group, which can be seen from afar, preferably on the road. Then follow the signposts downhill to Zuckbichl Hof and follow the steep path just before the farm.
You pass miners' holes and soon reach Annaberg Castle and the chapel of the same name. After a short descent, nature lovers continue along the panoramic trail and take a dirt track to the left that leads to Goldrain Castle, the destination of the hiking tour. Return through the district of Tiss and along the tarmac road to Latsch.
