Hiking in Mals can sometimes be quite scary, especially when you think of the strange goings-on on the Malettesböden in Vinschgau, where, according to legend, talking rabbits are in charge. See if you can spot any!

Spitzige Lun
Route description
The family hiking tour begins behind the little church at the upper end of Malles/Mals on a forest path. Following trail marker 12, the hiking family soon reaches the Malettesböden, the land of the talking rabbits. The hike continues to the Spitzige Lun.
Follow trail no. 12 and pay attention to the markings. The descent from the Spitzige Lun is via a wide path that starts orographically on the left and descends slightly. Follow this path to the Muntetschiniger farm and take path no. 14 until you reach the Sonnensteig (see markings) no. 17. Return to the starting point at the iron gate.
