Route description
From Graun, the trail first leads to St. Valentin auf der Haide, where the hike is considerably shortened by the cable car ride up to the Haideralm. Once there, mountain enthusiasts take trail no. 14 to Schöneben and hike northwards through the pine-covered slopes to the slope shoulder and up to the Haiderscharte on trail no. 9, which branches off to the left (watch out for signposts).
From there it is an easy climb up the ridge to the summit of the Elferspitze. The Elferspitze is the most popular summit in the area and also the highest. The safest way back is via the ascent route.
