Skiing region Haideralm
Together with Schöneben skiing area, Haideralm offers double winter fun with 65 km of ski runs and 11 lifts. 2 highly modern cableways with 10 seats connect Haideralm and Schöneben to a skiarena. As well, the longest ski run in Vinschgau ends up again in the village centre of St. Valentin auf der Haide and the connecting Höllental slope impresses with dreamlike views of Lake Reschen.
Unlimited winter paradise
As well, Haideralm is part of the Two-Countries Skiarena and of Ortler Skiarena. In fact, passionate skiers with an appropriate ski pass are offered varied kilometres of slopes: in South Tyrol, North Tyrol and Engadin.
Children have the possibility to play at “Schöni’s Kinderland” directly at the mountain station of Schöneben cableway – a family paradise with 4 magic belts for kids.
On the high plateau near Lake Reschen and Lake Haider, cross-country skiers will look forward to 45 kilometres of trails. The three-countries cross-country ski run and the 15 km long Weißkugel run in Langtaufers at 1,900 m are the most popular ones.
Winter sports for any taste
All those who love tranquillity and nature can choose whether to discover the mountain world with touring skis, snowshoes or hiking shoes – breath-taking views of the Italian, Austrian and Swiss mountains are always included.
Reschen pass holiday region also offers special winter experiences, such as paragliding from Haideralm. Furthermore, both Lake Reschen and Lake Haider have excellent conditions for icesailers and snowkiters. In St. Valentin and Reschen, two lit runs guarantee wonderful tobogganing for small and big winter sports lovers.
