Watles above Mals in Vinschgau is holding the record of sunny hours among all the sunny skiing areas of Ortler Skiarena. Fun, fun, fun
The nearly one kilometre long ski cross slope and the snow park with thirteen structures on eight tables are a paradise for adventurous freestylers and snowboarders. The family fun line offers many training possibilities for beginners and advanced skiers on various levels. Under qualified supervision, kids can make their first attempts on skis at the ski kindergarten “Bubo Kinderpark”.
Cross-country skiing and more
As the venue of international cross-country ski competitions, Nordic Ski Center Schlinig offers over 15 kilometres of perfectly prepared trails. Watles is not only attractive for cross-country skiers: Active vacationers will also look forward to snowshoe hikes, winter excursions and ski mountaineering with any degree of difficulty.
Watles ski school is one of the best ski schools in South Tyrol and has the certificate “Gold” for children’s ski schools. The instructors offer group courses for kids and beginners as well as individual lessons for all those who would like to improve their technique.
