From the Fane-Alm you start on path 17 past the village of Fane through the wild and romantic Valser Schramme. At the fork in the trail, continue on trail 17 to the Brixener Hut (2,282 m).
From here, take path 17 B into the valley on the Pfunders high alpine path in a wide left-hand bend to the Rauhjochtal (2,807 m). The path is steep and bumpy and the valley has many snow fields, which, however, do not need to be crossed.
