Short description

Cycle to the Zufallhütte in the Vinschgau Valley.

Description

To experience the meaning of the word mountain biking for yourself, we recommend a rewarding cycle tour from Martello in Val Venosta/Vinschgau up to the Zufallhütte mountain hut.

Starting point of the tour

Goldrain

Destination of the tour

Zufallhütte

Route description

The mountain bike tour starts in Goldrain and first leads towards Morter. Bikers cycle steeply past there to the hamlet of Gand. Here, a short descent takes you to the Trattla sports zone and on to the Martellerhof.
There, cyclists pedal to Gasthof Hölderle and Gasthof Waldheim, a nice place to stop for a break. The route continues on a tarmac road to the dam wall. Bikers soon reach Gasthof Schönblick along the lakeshore, where the ascent to Zufallhütte on a gravel road finally begins. Exciting!
