Route description
The panoramic tour starts in the sports zone of Mals and takes mountain bikers first to the village centre and along the main road towards the northern end of the village. There, cyclists continue along the "Kührast" forest path and follow it to the pastures of the Malettesböden (path no. 12). Mountain bikers come to the hamlet of Muntatschining on the right and turn sharp left shortly before it (trail no. 18) and reach Gemassenhof on a tarmac path. The route continues on gravel until it reaches a junction with four forest roads. Cyclists choose the path straight ahead to Matsch.
Once in Matsch, the route continues to Mühlhof and on trail no. 20 towards Schlosshof and Vernalhof. From here, mountain bikers continue along the tarmac road and take the descent at Tanas towards Schluderns, where Churburg Castle is located. Be sure to visit it! Return via the main road to Glorenza/Glurns - the smallest town in South Tyrol - where you reach the starting point of Malles/Mals via the Malles/Mals gate.
