Route description
The tour starts at the hospital church in Latsch. Mountain bikers cycle past the Rinner nursery in the direction of Tarsch (trail no. 3) and pass the Medardus church, which is also worth a visit. From here, the route continues on trail no. 3 uphill in numerous hairpin bends to the Freiberger Mahd and on a challenging fun trail down to the Freiberger Säge.
There, bikers take the marked forest path to the Marzoner Alm, where you can enjoy wonderful South Tyrolean specialities as well as the magnificent view as far as Merano. To the left of the mountain pasture building, footpath no. 19 branches off to the left, which soon joins a gravel path and leads downhill to the Schlums sports zone. From there, follow a section of the Via Claudia Augusta back northwards to the starting point in Laces/Latsch.
