Description
A particularly rewarding example of a mountain pasture tour for cyclists is the one on the Rodenecker Alm in the Eisacktal Valley, one of the most impressive plateaus in the whole of South Tyrol.

Route description
The bike tour starts in Rodeneck at the Vill car park at 885 m. From here, bikers pedal to Gilfen and on to the Spritzenhütte. At a fork in the road, take the path towards Ahnerberg and Rodenecker Alm and, after several metres in altitude, you will reach Zumis.
From there, the alpine tour continues to the Ronerhütte, the rustic and very popular Rastnerhütte and then to the Starkenfeldhütte. Each of these huts is recommended for a refreshment stop. Return to the starting point in Rodeneck via Ast.

By train to Brixen, from there there is a bus connection every half hour from the train station to Mühlbach
Directions
Brenner motorway A22, exit Brixen/Pustertal, direction Bruneck/Pustertal (approx. 3 km), before the tunnel turn right towards Mühlbach. In Mühlbach turn right at the petrol station to Rodeneck (descending road). The panoramic road leads directly to Rodeneck after approx. 4 km.
