Short description

If you take a closer look, Vintl is actually located in the Pustertal Valley. Nevertheless, together with the almost untouched Pfunderer Valley, it is part of the Eisacktal Valley holiday region.

Description

Around Vintl and in the Pfunderer mountains there are plenty of rustic places and unspoilt Alpine pastures to discover.

Starting point of the tour

Niedervintl car park

Route description

The starting point of the bike tour is Niedervintl. From the free car park, take the country road into the Weitental valley to the Weissenhof farm. There, mountain bikers take the signposted Sergser road to the Kiener Alm, where they can enjoy a rewarding panoramic view of the Pfunderer mountains.
You can either return via the same route or, more appealingly, via the Köglberg and the Weitental valley.
