After starting at Lake Kaltern, the route continues via the Manincor winery at the end of St. Josef am See through the Bärental valley towards Kaltern village. The footpath leads through the vineyards.
You then walk through the wine village of Kaltern to the wineries at the end of the village. Below the South Tyrolean Wine Road, the path continues through vineyards back to Lake Kaltern.
