Route description
For this alpine tour, mountain bikers start at the church in St. Peter. Here you take the signposted forest path to the Samhütten. Then it's a leisurely ride along the high trail into the valley. Cyclists pass numerous rustic mountain huts, can sample grey cheese and co. and thus prepare themselves for the onward journey while enjoying the magnificent view of the three thousand metre peaks on the other side of the valley.
After a well-earned refreshment, the route continues to the Schüttalm (see signposts) and along a beautiful narrow path to the Obere Tauernalm. From there, cyclists ride along a rooty trail to the valley floor and the Adleralm and back to the starting point on the road.
