Mysterious, mystical, occult? Where the witches' chairs in the Sciliar area come from, how they were created or who built them is still unclear today. Come and see for yourself the Dolomite throne in the middle of the woods near Völs and Kastelruth.

Route description
From Fiè, you can first reach Kastelruth by public transport or by car. On the main road, hikers walk briefly in the direction of Val Gardena and then take the Tiosler trail no. 7/8. The path takes walkers past beautiful farms to the edge of the forest, where the hike continues on a forest road.
In Puflatsch, choose trail no. 8 and hike through a small forest clearing and later partly on serpentines to the Hexenstühlen. The descent is the same as the ascent.

Brenner motorway A22, exit Klausen-Seiser Alm/Schlerngebiet, SS12 to Waidbruck, then towards Seiser Alm, Völs.
