Description
The Senes hut is located in the middle of the Senesalm, which is one of the largest alpine pastures in South Tyrol with 20 km² and is situated exactly between the Seekofel and Lavinores.

Route description
From St. Vigil in Enneberg the route leads either on foot or by car (toll) to Pederü where it first follows an old military road. Hikers then follow the path marked "Senes" and pass through woods, the ridge of Col Ra Machina and continue on a wider gravel road over the Plan de Lasta to the splendidly situated Senes Hut.
From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Seekofel and the Hohe Gaisl and immerse yourself completely in the fabulous alpine world of the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park. Mountain hikers return along the same route or along the marked path southwards to the alpine pasture settlement of Fodara Vedla and then along the old military road back to Pederü.
