Route description
Starting point is San Vigilio di Marebbe. From there, take the car to Pederü and walk on the Dolomite high trail no. 1 into the realm of the Fanes, where - according to Ladin legends - the marmots once ruled over the magical area and held meetings in the Parliament of the Marmots.
This "parliament" is the destination of the hike. It is located at the Grünsee lake in the immediate vicinity of the Limojoch and the Fanes hut. The way back is the same as the way there.
