In winter, Gröden is a multiple award-winning skiing area. In fact, countless cableways and lifts facilitate a comfortable start into a fascinating mountain world.
Wonderful mountain tours
St. Ulrich, St. Christina or Wolkenstein: Starting from all three main localities of Gröden valley, many modern lift facilities bring hikers to lofty heights also in summer.
For any ages and any level of physical fitness, there are countless paths, such as easy family courses or as well challenging mountain tours with climbing passages. Unique rest points with panoramic view and cosy mountain huts with typical South Tyrolean specialities offer regeneration for everyone.
A biker’s Eldorado
Together with Seiser Alm, Gröden forms a bike region of superlative standard. A network of tours of 1,000 km with varied levels of difficulty and altitudes guarantees fun for each level. Moreover, most of the lift facilities also transport bikes.
With a length of 3,130 m and a difference in altitude of 568 m, Ciampinoi freeride track is an extraordinary challenge for freeriding freaks. Another highlight is Sellaronda MTB Tour: An experienced mountain bike guide accompanies experienced bikers driving around Sella massif, a part of it by means of the cableways, in one day.
Holiday fun for small & big adventurers
An exciting high-rope course in the woods, a 180 m long zip line and an 860 m long fly line: Adrenaline junkies will love the Adventure Park Col de Flam at the edge of Anna valley. In addition, the park offers secure fun for kids: animals, a kid’s course for youngsters from four years and several trampolines light up all children’s eyes.
PanaRaida adventure trail at Monte Pana has ten exciting stations for adventurers and explorers: a labyrinth, a giant swing, tree houses and many other attractions offer fun for the whole family. Who loves treasure hunts should try geocoaching on the adventure trail.
