Birds that are found injured and helpless receive attention and professional care at the Birds Caring Centre in Dorf Tirol. As soon as an animal is fit again, it is allowed to return to the wild. However, if it is too weak or unable to fly, the bird remains a "patient" in one of over twenty aviaries, where animal lovers can visit it.

However, the Gufyland Birds Caring Centre at Schloss Tirol doesn't just look after sick birds. Apart from Mondays, the centre also offers exciting flight demonstrations with magnificent birds of prey and experienced falconers twice a day - at 11:15 am and 3:15 pm. There is also a tour for visitors, where you can find out lots of information about the bird species and their habitat.
