Route description

The starting point of the cycle tour is Tramin. Here you cycle along the South Tyrolean Wine Road to Lake Kaltern. Continue to Kaltern and from here a short, steep ascent along the Peace Trail (see signs and markings) to the road to Altenburg. Once in Altenburg, bikers cycle to the signposted viewpoint and enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Kaltern and the south of South Tyrol.
The return journey initially follows the same route. At the Altenburger Hof farm, turn left onto the Zoggler forest path. Mountain bikers cycle along this to Graun. Return to the starting point on Grauner Weg no. 1.
