Both ski areas Klausberg near Steinhaus and Speikboden near Sand in Taufers are part of Skiworld Ahrntal and can be easily reached from Luttach by car and by bus. From the top station of Speikboden, a 10 km long toboggan run goes to Luttach. Snowshoe hikers and ski tourers will look forward to the vast range of beautiful routes.

Not only during Christmas, but the whole year round, a visit of Maranatha crib museum in Luttach is worth a visit. The museum displays elaborate cribs from different countries as well as scary devil and witch masks, carved and painted for the traditional Krampus parades before Christmas.
