Pfalzen impresses with a varied sports and leisure time offer for the whole family. In summer, the natural bathing pond of Issing is perfect for swimming and right next to it, there is the wonderful high-rope course Kronaction. In winter and when there are cold temperatures, the lake becomes a beautiful ice-skating rink.

The sports area of Pfalzen is a highlight for families, offering an adventure forest playground and a bowling alley. In winter, there is a ski run with conveyor belt for kids as well as a short toboggan and snowtubing run. A bit above Pfalzen, there are two toboggan runs with longer descents. Horse lovers will look forward to the riding stables in Pfalzen and in the nearby village of Terenten; adrenaline junkies can try a tandem paragliding flight.
