Niederdorf, whose village centre is located at 1,158 m in Hochpustertal, is a traditional holiday resort in South Tyrol, impressing with its vicinity to the nature parks Fanes-Sennes-Prags and Three Peaks. Dreamlike views of the Dolomites and hearty hospitality guarantee the well-being of all guests coming to Niederdorf.
Due to the healthy climate, the scenic beauty and a tourism pioneer Niederdorf was a famous summer holiday destination in the 19th century. Emerentiana Hellenstainer, called “Frau Emma” had built a hotel of the inn Gasthof Schwarzer Adler with her husband, attracting guests from the entire Europe and even from overseas with a charming host and an excellent cuisine.
At the end of the park there is a beautiful lake where ducks swim and where there is a floating stage with seating for spectators.
