Would you like to really pamper yourself in a hotel – ideally on a wellness holiday? The eco hotels in South Tyrol leave nothing to be desired: Enjoy luxurious and health-promoting wellness and beauty treatments with natural and regional raw materials, such as a refreshing mountain pine oil massage or the traditional South Tyrolean apple bath.
And those who prefer to look after themselves on holiday are in good hands in one of the numerous eco apartments in South Tyrol. Aspects such as heating with sustainable energies or using sustainable materials thus enable climate-frindly eco holidays.
During the day, South Tyrol offers a wide range of activities for every taste in summer and winter, many of which can also be done on foot or by bike. Numerous hiking tours, versatile golf courses, varied cycle routes and much more are just waiting to be discovered and experienced by you. Culinary delights are not neglected either and are also very much in the spirit of sustainability: traditional dishes such as Buchteln, South Tyrolean asparagus with the traditional "Bozner Sauce" & Co. Most of them contain regional ingredients from the surrounding farms. A treat for all the senses!

- Avoid air travel if possible: South Tyrol is an ideal destination here, as it is easy to reach by car from neighbouring countries. Many places along the main valleys, such as Bozen or Sterzing, can even be reached comfortably by train thanks to their own railway station.
- Only pack what you really need: Of course, this is especially true when travelling by car, because the lighter the vehicle, the fewer emissions are emitted.
- Use a refillable drinking bottle: On hikes & co you can easily refill them and save not only waste but also costs. South Tyrol has excellent drinking water from the tap that you can consume without hesitation.
- Avoid littering in nature: Even though this should go without saying - it is not uncommon to come across rubbish in forests, on meadows or hiking trails. When out and about in nature, always take your rubbish with you and dispose of it properly at the next opportunity. Nature will thank you for it.
We wish you an unforgettable holiday in South Tyrol and will be happy to answer any further questions you may have on the subject of sustainability.
