Timmelsjoch Pass
The Timmelsjoch Pass is a border pass between Italy and Austria that is particularly popular with motorcyclists and cyclists: it connects the Passeiertal Valley with the Ötztal Valley and thus South Tyrol with North Tyrol. In addition to hairpin bends and breathtaking views, there are also the 6 stations of the Timmelsjoch Experience and beautiful hiking destinations to discover.

Highlight for racing cyclists & motorcyclists
The pass road over the Timmelsjoch is a dream route for motorcyclists with around 30 beautifully designed hairpin bends and, with a maximum gradient of 13 %, is also an exciting challenge for road cyclists. From St. Leonhard in Passeier, the route leads via Moos in Passeier up to the highest point, the pass, and then on the Austrian side via Hochgurgl and Obergurgl down to Sölden.
There is also a bus from Moos in Passeier up to the Timmelsjoch Pass and of course the route up the mountain pass is also fun by car, as the wide panoramas are overwhelming. Hikers and mountain bikers also get their money's worth in the high alpine landscape, most of which is part of the Texel Group Nature Park on the South Tyrolean side. Refreshment stops in the region range from mountain huts to mountain inns and panoramic restaurants.
