Route description
Our route begins in Val Fiscalina at the end of the valley in Sexten. To save energy, we take the cable car to the Rotwand meadows where we follow trail no. 18. Past the "Rudihütte" and around the Rotwandköpfe we hike in front of the imposing Dreischusterspitze (3145 m) to the Anderteralm. From here, trail no. 124 leads to the start of the Alpine trail. Over adventurous rock steps, wire rope-secured passages and wooden steps and bridges, we continue from the Sentinellascharte to the Elferscharte and the "Outer Hole" via the "Salvezza" ledge to the "Inner Hole". Above us and below us are the imposingly high rock faces of the Elferkofel and Zwölferkofel.
On trail no. 101 we pass the Eissee lake and finally reach the Zsgismondy-Comici hut (2224m). The way back is via hut trail no. 101 along the Bacherntal valley back to the Fischleintal valley, the starting point of our hike.
