Starting point of the tour
Car park below the parish church in Hafling
Destination of the tour
Vöraner Alm
Route description
Mountain bikers start the bike tour at the car park below the parish church in Hafling and cycle first along the marked Hinterdorfer Weg and then along forest path 16 to the Leadner Alm. To the left of the alpine pasture, the route continues to the Vöraner Alm, a plateau with great views. Return along the same path, but only as far as the junction with forest path no. 2 to the Wurzer Alm.
The forest path is quite rooty. Beware of wet ground: wet roots are difficult to ride on and are very slippery. Bikers who are not very technically experienced should definitely push their bikes if in doubt! The trail leads to the Wurzeralm. From there, mountain bikers cycle along the forest path back to the starting point in Hafling.
