Description
The Ultental Valley is one of the most rustic valleys in South Tyrol and has managed to preserve its rural character to this day. Here you will find ancient larches, pilsen farms and shingle roofs far and wide, an experience for culturally aware mountain bikers.

Route description
The mountain bike tour starts in St. Pankraz in Ulten. From there, you first head into the valley to the Zoggler reservoir and use the dizzying road over the dam wall to get to the other side of the lake. Mountain cyclists then reach the idyllic Weißbrunner See.
Cyclists should take their time on the way back, as the uniqueness of the valley is now revealed: the route leads along wild and romantic forest paths, past ancient farmsteads, you will see interlocking Pilshöfe farms and pass through St. Gertraud, a particularly picturesque village. From there, the route continues along forest paths out of the valley and back to St. Pankraz
