MTB tour Fragsburg Castle

From Lana to Fragsburg Castle, the leisurely half-day tour.

The Burggrafenamt region opens up around Lana near Meran and, with the surrounding mountains, offers a rewarding area for exciting cycle tours. One of these is the one from Lana to Burgstall and Fragsburg.

The cycle tour starts in the centre of Lana and leads along the cycle path to Burgstall. In Burgstall, cyclists cycle briefly along the old country road towards Bolzano and take the path up to the Kohlerhof farm by the parish church. This is followed by a short pushing section on path 1a.
Back on the bike, we take the cart track to the Hecherhof snack station and continue on a tarmac road to Meran and Labers. On the way you pass the Fragsburg crossroads. From here, continue straight on to Schenna and via Meran along the cycle path back to Lana.
