Short description

Through the Höhlenstein Valley from Toblach to Cortina!

Description

The cycle tour from Toblach to Cortina d'Ampezzo is a truly enjoyable tour and offers the most beautiful panoramic views of the Dolomites in South Tyrol.

Starting point of the tour

Toblach

Destination of the tour

Cortina d'Ampezzo

Route description

The cycle tour starts in Toblach in Pustertal. From there, you first take the cycle path to Lake Toblach and then continue along the old railway road to Lake Dürrensee, where cyclists should take a quick left and take a look at the Three Peaks.
The route continues to Schluderbach, where instead of the Tre Croci Pass you cycle straight on through the Val di Landro and on to Cortina. What sounds rather monotonous is actually a showcase of the most beautiful Dolomite peaks: Tofane, Monte Cristallo, Pompagnon, 5 Torri. The mountains of the Ampezzo Dolomites are simply breathtaking!
