Cycle path Toblach – Cortina
The cycle path was made along the disused railway track between Toblach and Cortina, leading along many attractions. These include, for instance, Lake Toblach, Dürrensee, the Three Peaks and the ruins of fortress Landro.
The tour’s starting point is the railway station in Toblach. From there, it goes to Dürrensee and afterwards to Schluderbach. There, you can stop by a restaurant before the next, 20 km long stage begins.
After Schluderbach you reach the Cimabanche and finally Cortina d’Ampezzo, always on the former railway track. The scenic beauty of the Dolomites of Sexten and Ampezzo accompanies the cyclists from Toblach to the endpoint in Cortina, that ranks among the most noble address for ski holidays in Italy.
For the whole tour you will need about 3 hours. The way back can also be done by bus that is operated every 30 minutes on weekdays.
