Scary figures with gruesome masks, big horns and black hide… Devils are out! But never fear! During the krampus parade in Natz, it is safe to observe them.
The association “Oachna Krampusse” organizes a big parade with more than 600 krampuses, devils and other dark characters on Saturday 10th December 2022. The krampus groups come not only from South Tyrol, but also from Austria and Trentino.
The parade leads the participants right through the village of Eisacktal, until they have a stop in the centre, where they perform their diabolic show. The whole distance of the parade is railed off, so that the spectators don’t have to fear that the krampuses get too close to them. In addition, the stands along the streets supply the crowd with warm drinks.
After the parade, a krampus party is held in the clubhouse of Natz – without masks and hides.
