Green meadows and fresh mountain air are only some reasons, why the cheese, which is getting produced directly in the South Tyrolean farms, is so delicious. Because of the healthy and natural feed of the cows and the resulting milk quality as well as the careful production, the cheese from the cheese dairies in Mühlwald is really popular.
The Cheese Hike in Mühlwald takes place on 30th June, 14th July and 11th and 25th August 2021. You will walk from Mühlwald to local cheese producing farms, where you can taste soft, cream and hard cheese made of cow’s raw milk.
Important for the hike are heavy shoes, a cagoule or an umbrella and a bottle of water.
