Cineplexx Bozen
The cinema in Bozen is a real sensation for South Tyrol: before the Cineplexx opened up, there were only small cinemas, which did not show many movies and most of them only in one language.
As South Tyrol is bilingual, in Bozen 80 % of the locals speak Italian, the remaining part speaks German. In the other regions of South Tyrol, 64% are speaking German, 24 % Italian and about 4 % Ladin. So it is sometimes difficult to watch movies in the own language. Therefore, the new Cineplexx shows blockbusters in German and Italian, and movies from Italy or Germany in the original language.
