Wolkenstein (1.563 m)

Seiser Alm, Zallinger Hütte (2.054 m)

Route description

We start our journey at the valley station of the "Sasslong" cable car in Wolkenstein. We take the Gröden state road to Soplases and into the Jendertal valley, where the rather steep ascent to the Seiser Alm (trail no. 18) begins. Continuing along the same path, after a while we reach the "Tirler" Alpine inn and finally the Zallinger hut, which is popular with gourmets.
The way back is via Monte Pana and Ciaslat (part of the world-famous Sasslong Ski World Cup downhill run) down to the starting point in Wolkenstein.
