MTB tour Brogles Alm
Short description
The tour from St. Ulrich to Brogles Alm is ideal for mountain bikers.
Description
On the one hand, the Dolomite passes and the Sellaronda beckon, and on the other, the forest and woodland trails to the most beautiful alpine pastures in the Dolomites. No matter which tours you prefer: you will always find what you are looking for in Gröden!
Starting point of the tour
Valley station of the Seceda cable car in St. Ulrich
Destination of the tour
Brogles Alm
Route description
The start is at the valley station of the Seceda cable car in St. Ulrich. From there, the route first takes you onto the Via Cruce and then steeply upwards along forest path no. 9. The route of the chairlift, which the forest path crosses again and again, serves as a guide. At the bottom station of the chairlift, cyclists take trail no. 35 towards Brogles Alm.
Mountain bikers can relax at the Brogles Hütte and recharge their batteries for the return journey, which is the same until the junction to trail no. 5. This trail no. 5 is closed to cyclists until 5.00 pm as there are too many hikers on the trail during the day. As an alternative, the outward route must be cycled as the return route. Instead of the steep ascent via the Seceda, you can also take the chairlift.
