Route description
The starting point is the Kohlern valley station. The ascent to Kohlern can be done either with your own muscle power or with the cable car. Once at the top, take the well-marked forest path no. 5 and cycle to the Kofl and Oberrain farms.
Continue in the direction of Birchabruck and on the Eggental road towards Bozen. Shortly before the tunnel, a dirt track leads uphill to the right. You then reach the Drimml trail no. 1, which takes you back to Kardaun and Bolzano.
