Montigglman Triathlon

The lake district south of Eppan is just made for it. However, you shouldn’t be fooled by the idyllic nature, because the competitions are fastidious.
Three demanding distances
The go-ahead for the Montigglman Triathlon is given on Saturday, 4th September 2021 at 2 p.m. next to the lido of the Little Lake of Montiggl. The water temperature will be about 20 to 24 °C, but the participants won’t have a lot of time to enjoy it. After all, they have to do the 400-meter-long course in the water as fast as possible.
This first discipline is followed by a 10 kilometres long mountain bike course with some short, but demanding ascents. Last but not least, the sportsmen have to do at a run three laps or rather 2.5 kilometres around the Little Lake of Montiggl.
The triathlon is hold as individual competition for men and women in different age groups and as relay race. Afterwards, there will be a pasta party and round about 4.30 p.m. there will be the presentation ceremony.
