Mill Festival

These are the benchmarks of the Mill Festival in Terenten that promises a perfect Sunday for the whole family. After the “Sowing” in spring, the Mill Festival is the second appointment in the course of the year that is on the program of the traditional series of events “'s Terner Schmelzpfandl” in Terenten. In autumn, there are always a harvest festival, the return of the cattle from the alpine pasture and the gastronomic week “Terner Bauernkuchl”.

The Mill Festival itself takes place on the first Sunday in August. Central parts are presentations of the miller’s work: From 10 am to 5 pm the wooden mill-wheels will turn again by water power and the farmers of Terenten will grind their grain just as their great-grandfathers did it decades before.
