Please note: Due to the weather forecast, the venue for the bacon feast has changed! It will now take place in the city centre of Bruneck, not at the Kronplatz summit.
From 28th to 29thth September 2024, Bruneck dedicates two festival days to South Tyrolean bacon.
South Tyrolean tradition, customs and folk culture will be the focus throughout the festival, alongside bacon and many other typical products such as wine, bread, cheese, apples and asparagus.
The South Tyrolean Farmers' Association is also represented at the event and provides information about rural offerings with typical customs and traditions.
South Tyrolean bacon is not only a delicacy to be enjoyed on its own. Its unmistakable taste is also a real star, accompanying many South Tyrolean dishes.
